Before And After: How To Go From No Makeup To A Perfect Day Look

Start off with a clean and moisturized face. This is also the best time to tweeze your brows if needed.

Dermalogica Precleanse Wipes are truly amazing. They get rid of any previous makeup as well as environmental pollutants. Wipe your face with one and then rinse and pat dry.

I really love the Superdefence Daily Defence Moisturizer with SPF by Clinique. It's great for even the most sensitive skin — it contains antioxidants as well as SPF protection.

I then apply lip balm — Burt's Bees is fabulous. It moisturizes well and has all-natural ingredients.

Next, I make sure my hair is neatly brushed. I love the Finish Gel Cushion Brush by Goody. It's perfect for even the coarsest hair, yet it's gentle enough to use on fine hair. This brush contains ions to eliminate frizz as well as tourmaline to minimize static and a ceramic plate to minimize drying time.

To get the day look, less is more. I love Mèreadesso's Tinted All-in-One Moisturizer. It's perfect for all skin tones and it's buildable for added coverage.

When it comes to eyes, Big Beautiful Eyes by Benefit is great. This palette suits every skin tone. It also comes with a mirror, concealer, a brush, tweezers and instructions. I use the dark brown shadow in this palette to fill in my brows. Use this shade too if you have a darker hair colour.

I apply the lightest colour of eyeshadow to the inner corner of my eyes to really brighten them up. The medium beige I use all over my lid and the darkest brown I smudge out in the outer ends of my eyes. Blend, blend, blend. I like to add a little contrast to the brow bone as well by blending the lightest colour just on the brow bone. I finish off the eyes with Lash Blast 24 Mascara by Cover Girl. I like to use an eyeliner brush and mascara as a two-in-one, which I recommend if you like eyeliner.

Pressed Powder Blush by MAC in Melba adds the perfect amount of colour. Apply to the apples of your cheeks in an upward, circular motion.

Make your lips look luscious with a hint of Clinique's Superbalm in Currant.

To finish of the day look, spray your hair with a heat-protecting spray. I love the Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray by Tresemmé. Simply glide through your hair in sections for the perfect polished look.
