An array of stars descended upon Toronto for the much anticipated world premiere festivities of the Indo-Canadian film ‘Dr Cabbie’, which burst onto the scene with fandom in tow this past Labour Day long weekend.

Amongst the star line up were international Bollywood superstar & India’s most bankable star Salman Khan, screenwriter & actor, Vinay Virmani, TV’s comedic pop cultural icon, Kunal Nayyar (‘The Big Bang Theory’), and gorgeous newcomer, Isabelle Kaif (Katrina Kaif’s younger sister). In this two part OPEN CHEST TV special, I had the opportunity to interview this quartet about the film and its importance to today’s immigrant story, as well as some impromptu banter about things that are specific to each personality.

In this last instalment of a two part special, I had the opportunity to chat with American television actor and one of the stars of ‘The Big Bang Theory’, Kunal Nayyar. In our candid conversation, I found out what made Kunal venture into the comedy genre and what fuels his passion for being in front of the camera. I also discovered why his character Tony in Dr. Cabbie was special enough for him to make this debut in feature films.

I also chatted with the beautiful classically trained ballet dancer & theatre actress, Isabelle Kaif. She spoke about translating her skills as a method actress into the genre of comedy. The stunner also opened up about her experiences in making her very first feature film with Dr. Cabbie.

…ENJOY!
