Juno-nominated Tanzanian–Indo-Canadian singer Alysha Brilla made a fun fashion statement at the Juno Awards held yesterday at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Canada.

The singer, who was up for Adult Contemporary Artist of the Year for her album Womyn, may not have bagged the award, but she did bag our attention when she hit the red carpet in a ZNA.K Canada funky retro inspired frock.

The printed fit-and-flare thigh-high girly frock featured three-quarter sleeves, a scoop neck, and adorable tulle detailing.

Leaving all the attention on the colourful frock, Alysha opted for nude pointed-toe pumps. On the beauty front, her hair was pinned up in a boho-chic bun, leaving rich berry lips to create all the drama.

The singer shared on her Twitter page, “I may not have won the Juno, but I did win best dressed! Because ZNA.K made the best dress. #africa#canada #znak #fashion #style #junos2015 #colourful#retro #quirky #sexy #chic #bestdressed #designer #alyshabrilla #womyn"

ZNA.K is a fashion designer with an Afro-Western flare. She specializes in colourful custom designs and lived up to her reputation with this fun ensemble.

This marks Alysha’s second consecutive nomination at the Juno Awards.
