What Music Lovers Can Expect From Coke Studio Season 9

    Coke Studio is known to be one of the most popular music shows to come out of Pakistan; a perfect balance of soulful sounds!

    Season 9 lineup has been announced and we've got the details on who to catch in the second week of August.

    From a number of new artists, to powerful music legends; this season will give fans another taste of "the rhythm, harmony, texture, language, and melody of Pakistan."


    Rumour has it this year's edition of Coke Studio will be the biggest of all. The panel of 6 producers includes Noori, Jaffer ZaidiShiraz Uppal, Faakhir, Shuja Haider, and Shani Arshad.

    After his smash hit Tajdar-e-Haram from Season 8, Atif Aslam has announced he will not be taking part in Coke Studio's upcoming season.

    The late, legendary qawwal Amjad Sabri will also be featured on Season 9 alongside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

    Sabri's fans will remember this season for time to come in what is probably the slain sufi singer's last studio recording

    Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat will be making her singing debut this season with the Shiraz Uppal.
